More so than in the private sector, for many of the application needs in the public sector – even mission critical business applications – a suitable third party vendor solution can generally be found. From time to time, however, custom development services are still required.
DCG provides a full range of application development, administration, maintenance, and support services for new projects and for installed applications portfolios, including programming support in those cases where our client owns or maintains the source code. Where applications are maintained by third party vendors or under separate support agreements, we frequently serve as systems administrator and technical IT liaison for the coordination of services and support with the third party provider.

Where development and programming services are required, DCG can provide direct staffing and business partner support for virtually any technical and development tool environments. In all cases, DCG retains responsibility as lead design and project manager.
System administration, maintenance, and support services include monitoring application service levels and performance from both a business and technical perspective; user administration and security maintenance; ad hoc reporting assistance; program modifications; version control; additional end user training support; problem resolution; and replacement planning.

- Dispatch/Incident Management System - dispatch, call tracking, and incident management for airport security officers. Integration with access control system alarming system. Hand held devices for daily activity log/tracking.
- Municipal Courts Case Management System - requirements, design and development of 300+ user system to support largest MunicipalCourt in the State of Texas, processing more than 1 million cases annually. Case processing; docketing; jail bonding; payment; parking ticket; parking "boot" program.
- G-FAMS™ Government Fixed Asset Management System - internally developed and marketed comprehensive PC-based fixed asset management system specifically designed for unique needs of governmental entities, including grant compliance; risk management; physical inventory; and, replacement planning.
